Grace

I am nothing, You are everything

My presence is temporary, Yours is everlasting

I am blemished, but You are flawless

My actions fail, but Yours surpasses

 

I can’t imagine everything that You do

All the walls you break down to show people the real You

Through Your presence in people’s lives is only recognized by few

You are always there when we need rescue

 

You are the Father our eyes cannot see

But You give us Your Holy Spirit we can feel flowing through our bodies

Giving us strength even when we feel weak

To go out and spread the love of God when we speak

 

Even though nothing I could ever do compares to You

Everything I do in Your name is of value

And though failure is something I’m used to

Your grace will always be my favorite virtue
